A native Texan, Sarah Blackstock, a dedicated family law attorney, brings a unique blend of compassion, expertise, and steadying calmness to her clients as she helps them navigate some of life’s toughest moments.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Government from Texas Women’s University and worked as a technical support engineer and a technical and marketing writer before pursuing a career in law. Her tenure in her previous career provided her with invaluable life experience and translatable skills that serve her well in her family law practice, including exceptional drafting and writing skills, attention to detail, and the
ability to translate complex information and terms into easy-to-understand language.

Sarah graduated with honors from UNT Dallas College of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Law Review. She further distinguished herself in law school as a legal writing teaching fellow and recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Advance Legal Research and Dispute Resolution in Family Law.

In 2024, Sarah joined Tidwell Law Firm, drawn by its tight-knit team and collaborative approach to legal work and client care. Here, she continues to uphold her commitment to providing essential representation to those navigating the complexities of family law cases, including divorces and custody modifications.
